HP ENVY 5530 e-All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My ENVY 5530 prints but won't scan. I am running Windows 10 64 bit.

When I press the HP ENVY 5539 Series icon to start a scan, I get a message "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?"

When I select yes, a Printer Setup & Software page appears giving me these options:

Connect a new printer

Recongfigure Wireless Settings

Add more software

I don't think I want to do any of these.

I ran Scan Doctor 5.7.1, the Device Manager shows red and it says "This tool is unable to solve the problem even after a restart.  Go to HPCustomer Care to get help resolving this issure.

I thiought I would ask the forum for help before I do that.

Any ideas?
