Hi,

 

I've been using my ENVY 5540 to scan a few images, but it's having some issues saving the images after scanning them. They don't always end up in the targeted folder, or any other folder. I've tried several things like restarting the printer, or even rebooting my system, but it still occasionally, seemingly at random, refuses to save them. Any ideas?

Please try this scan solution:
 
HP Scan Extended

For Windows:   ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"

Make searchable PDF scans with this free scanning software -   https://www.naps2.com/

I'm using the HP AIO Scanner. The targeted folder is one on my 😧 drive where I save all my images.

 

I also can't seem to figure out how to adjust the dimensions of the images. It seems to just default to 9924 x 14028, no matter what I do.
