It has now been EIGHT MONTHS and HP has still NOT updated Easy Scan 1.9.1 (120) from the update that was last made two years ago?? 

I am using image capture but it is clunky and after 8 months it is just taking HP too long to fix the broken functionality in Easy Scan that prohibits it from working with Catalina 

I guess it will be Brother or a next time......I am given up on HP. When these three existing printers die they will not be replaced with HP product.

Hi,

HP Easy Scan is supported on Catalina for quite a while ago since macOS Catalina 15.3 update released in the end of January:

Ensure your operating system is fully up to date by clicking the Apple icon, select About this Mac and then press Software Update, Be sure to install any listed updates.

 

Additionally, make sure the latest HP Easy Scan version is installed, it will be installed within the Applications folder:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Installations/Essentials/hp-easy-scan-1_...

thanks for the download link

before I posted the above 

I searched for this in drivers and it did not come up. 

also, in apple's app store the version in there is two years old: 1.9.1 (build 120). 

It must the developers responsibility to update the App Store every two years??
