I am scanning documents from the feeder. The documents arrive on the PC app (so far so good), and I can even rearrange the order. I click on EDIT in order to crop and rotate a scan, click DONE, and I see that the document was not cropped or rotated as I commanded. Why would this be? Has anyone ever overcome this bug (or user error)? Many thanks!

Which Officejet Pro printer model is that?
Perhaps can try using the HP FULL software solution?
Can download from www.hp.com > Support >Software & drivers > Printers ?

I have an OfficeJet Pro 7740. I have recently installed an update and HP Smart tells me that it is 122.1.778.0
After I scan an image, I can make changes on the Edit screen, but these will not show on the Preview screen. I have followed your advice and downloaded the HP solution. I have run Print & Scan Doctor. I still have the same problem.
A solution would be appreciated.

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.
We used the same HP Smart version and was able to scan, edit (remember to select "Done") and the Preview was ok.
If that doesn't work, try the HP FULL software.
