Hi @Shilgirl,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are trying to enlarge a copy when printing on the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw from a Windows 11 PC, you can follow these steps:

  • Open the Document: Open the document or image you want to print on your Windows 11 PC.
  • Access Print Dialog: Go to the File menu and select "Print" or use the shortcut Ctrl + P to open the Print dialog box.
  • Select Printer: Ensure that your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw is selected as the printer.
  • Open Printer Preferences: Look for a link or button labeled "Printer Properties", "Printer Preferences", or "Properties". Click on it to open the printer settings.
  • Find Scaling Options: In the printer properties window, locate the section where you can adjust the scaling or enlargement settings. This might be under a tab named like "Layout" or "Finishing".
  • Adjust Scaling: Look for options like "Scaling", "Fit to Page", or "% of Actual Size". You want to select the option that allows you to specify a percentage increase in size. Enter a value greater than 100% to enlarge the printout. You might need to experiment a bit to find the right percentage for the enlargement you desire.
  • Apply Changes: Once you've adjusted the scaling settings, click "Apply" or "OK" to save the changes.
  • Print: After you've set the scaling to your desired enlargement, click "Print" in the print dialog box to print the document.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
