Hi @hawaiianei,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you want to engage the copy, follow these steps if your printer touchscreen control panel.

  1. From the Home screen on the printer control panel, touch the Copy button.
  2. Touch the Reduce/Enlarge option.
  3. Touch one of the predefined percentages, or touch the Scaling field and enter a percentage, then touch the OK button.

When copying from the document feeder, use a percentage between 25 and 200. When copying from the scanner glass, use a percentage between 25 and 400. You can also select these options:

  • Auto: The printer automatically scales the image to fit the paper size in the tray.
  • Auto Include Margins: The printer reduces the image slightly to fit the entire scanned image within the printable area on the page.

Note: To reduce the image, select a scaling percentage that is less than 100. To enlarge the image, select a scaling percentage that is greater than 100.

      4. Touch the Start button to begin copying.

For more help sharing the HP Printer page that has the steps

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
