Hi @hawaiianei,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you want to engage the copy, follow these steps if your printer touchscreen control panel.
- From the Home screen on the printer control panel, touch the Copy button.
- Touch the Reduce/Enlarge option.
- Touch one of the predefined percentages, or touch the Scaling field and enter a percentage, then touch the OK button.
When copying from the document feeder, use a percentage between 25 and 200. When copying from the scanner glass, use a percentage between 25 and 400. You can also select these options:
- Auto: The printer automatically scales the image to fit the paper size in the tray.
- Auto Include Margins: The printer reduces the image slightly to fit the entire scanned image within the printable area on the page.
Note: To reduce the image, select a scaling percentage that is less than 100. To enlarge the image, select a scaling percentage that is greater than 100.
4. Touch the Start button to begin copying.
