Error 321 & 344. I am seeing these errors when I send faxes. I

Hi Community,

When I send even a short fax I receive error 321 & 344.

I have tried reducing fax speed, disabling ECM & changing out the fax cables.

Any other suggestions?

There are only a number of things to try on your side...

It is possible the phone line is not carrying the data - phone lines meant for voice transmission are pretty tolerant; there can be a lot of line noise and overall degradation, for example, before voice transmission fails.  Data transmission, on the other hand, has tighter restrictions.

If you have another landline in your home / office, consider hauling the printer to that location, connecting everything, and trying that phone line.

In the USA, in so much that I am aware, the Fax Text number works to test your fax.
