We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Error: Code 22 Can not enable the scanner in device manager,

devnode status - Device Status: 0x01802401. DN_HAS_PROBLEM, DN_DISABLEABLE.

Conection to monitor with VGA (not DVI). drvier version 11.1.1.1.
reinstaled few times, install just driver then scanner few times ... tried with upgrade utility ...

"Device is Disabled (Code 22)" is a Windows Device Manager error, it means in device manager, the status of this device is set as disabled.

If enable device fails, typically means device manager fails to load the driver; possibly due to resource contention or mulfuncion of the device

Try these steps:

1. f USB connected devices, try move to a different port

2. If multiple USB devices are connected, remove some and see if probelem persists.

3. check disk space and free memory.
