I have an HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus. Whether I'm printing or scanning, I recently started getting the error:  Paper Jam: The original is jammed in the ADF. I've checked and cleaned EVERYTHING! There is no jam! This seems to be a false error. How can I clear it?

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:  
Paper jams can be real or false. The printer might report a paper jam even when there is no jammed paper. The following steps apply to both real and false paper jams.
