MFP 577
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My MFP 577 stopped being able to verify access to my computer to scan.  I have not changed any settings or passwords.  I tried setting up a new save to network folder to test, and it still does not work.

I have reset routers, rebooted all devices, etc.  The user name and password to log into my computer is correct.

I uninstalled the printer software and reinstalled, nothing working.

The scan to e-mail function still works.Capture.JPG

It was also set up to scan to another computer in the network, and that stopped working also.

Found the solution was to go to the field with "Windows Domain:" under the Quick Set Wizard Edit Network Folder Path Page and change to the ip address in the form of "\\ipaddress"

Do not understand why the using of the former Windows Domain of \\DESKTOP-TGPTHL2 (which was the default Dell computer name), which had been working stopped.  I did not make any changes to either the computer or the printer unless it was caused by some Windows or Windows Defender update.
