I have a vonage telephone adapter with dedicated fax line. I had to replace my previous adapter since it became defective which was LinksynPAP2. It has worked well with the Vonage account. The new one is a HT802 Initially i had some problems with this. I run a fax test and states it is correctly connected and dials out . I have used the HP FAX ME [Personal Information Removed] and rarely goes through out of 100 fax tests. I talke to vonage and there is nothing wrong with the adapter .They say it is HP. HP Fax server test is unreliable. If you want to test whether your fax machine is working i suggest you use CANNON TEST FAX NUMBER which is [Personal Information Removed]. It works perfectly and confirms you send and receive a fax
Evidently HP Is oblivious to this problem.

I understand your concern. The HP test server works fine. Occasionally there could be some issues with the test server and may not respond due to updates or maintenance. You may try it after a couple of hours.

All due respect your answer is nonsense. Can you tell me how many times server answers faxes and rejects them Your have no information on the date and time i sent and the response from the server. Without that information and without your actually querying you would not be able even to answer that question. The server is not down but is rejects a lot of faxes. For all people on HP Do not use their test fax number USE CANNON FAX NUMBER 1‐855‐392‐2666 IT IS 100% CONSISTENT AND SEND YOU A FAX BACK. CANON I S SUCH A GREAT COMPANY AT LEAST ITS FAX NUMBER . I did forget to tell i send a fax 3 weeks 30 times to that number and one fax got through. You have a 3% chance of having successful fax send. By the way it does not work on weekends. Also I tried multiple times during the day to test this fax. I suspect you do not take digital residential Faxes by cox or vonage very well.
