Welcome to HP Forums, I see that you lost the fax settings.

  • Did you do any changes to the printer?
  • Are you talking about digital fax settings which are lost?

Reply with the requested information for more assistance.

Cheers.

Regular, not digital, Faxing. Subsequently, I uninstalled the printer and reinstalled it, including a diver update. I spent an hour on the phone with an Apple support tech, finding no problem with the I-Mac or OS. Don’t know if it could be an AT&T issue.

It looks like you were interacting with @sandytechy20, but he is out for the day & I'll be glad to help you out.

Fax settings are normally saved on the printer and can be accessed and edited from the printer EWS(Embedded web server). Let's try these steps:

1.) Touch the wireless icon on the printer control panel display and locate the printer IP address or IPv4 address.

2.) Open a web browser on a connected device and type the printer IP address onto the address bar and hit Enter. The EWS information page for the printer opens.

3.) Click Fax tab.

If in case your fax settings are listed under the Fax tab in EWS page then somehow the fax settings has been lost and you need to re-configure fax to start using the fax feature. Click the Fax setup Wizard on the fax tab and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the fax setup.

Let me know how it goes!
