Following fw upgrade to WMP1CN2105AR scan to folder fails with err msg "document feeder was unable to pick up the original"
Notes -
1. doc feeds the as expected
2. network folder configuration test returns OK
3. doc copy works OK
4. scan to USB works OK
5. scan to folder worked before fw update

Hi @seve_g,
Thanks for confirming your printer model.
Let's try a few more steps to resolve this.
Delete the existing folder path in the Embedded Web Server (EWS) and create it again. Firmware updates sometimes reset or alter how folder permissions are handled.
Now, ensure the shared folder has full read/write permissions for the user account the printer is using.
Update printer drivers
Install the latest drivers for the OfficeJet Pro 8720 from HP’s support site to ensure compatibility with the new firmware.
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor
This tool can detect and fix scan configuration issues caused by firmware changes.
