Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-in-One Printer

I have been faxing with 8.5 x 11 paper for 2-3 years now.  Today when trying to fax I am getting a message that states “The printer cannot send

A3- or Tabloid size faxes.  The fax has been canceled.  Resize the original to a smaller size (such as A4, letter, or legal), and then try again”.  I tried the reset by powering off and pulling out the plug but no results.  I have tried call HP for help but can’t reach anyone by phone to get help.  Thank you for any help in solving this.

Hi,

Please select Fax > Send Now and then click the gear icon to access the fax settings.

There look for any Size setting currently set as Tabloid and change its value to the loaded original paper size and try faxing again.

 

If you may get any such message on the computer or use the computer software to fax, please clarify whic exact steps are taken causing these results.
