Hi @Bailey838,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If you're seeing the “Feature Unavailable” message on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 while using macOS 12 Monterey, and it worked just a few weeks ago, this could be a driver issue or glitch. Please try the steps shared below and let me know if this helps.

1. Use HP Smart’s Diagnose & Fix Tool

HP Smart for macOS includes a built-in tool to automatically detect and fix issues:

  • Open the HP Smart app.
  • In the top menu bar, click your printer’s name > Diagnose & Fix.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions.

2. Re-add the Printer Using AirPrint

Sometimes the printer driver may default to a limited version. To fix this:

  1. Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
  2. Select your printer and click the minus (-) button to remove it.
  3. Click the plus (+) to add it again.
  4. When it appears, make sure “Use: AirPrint” is selected (not “Secure AirPrint” or “Generic”).

3. Update HP Software

Make sure you have the latest HP drivers and software for macOS Monterey:

4. Reset Printing System (if needed)

If the issue persists:

  1. Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
  2. Right-click (or Control-click) in the printer list and choose “Reset printing system…”.
  3. Re-add your printer and try again.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
