Product: HP ScanJet Pro 3500f1
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I press button on the front panel of my scanner, scanning does not start automatically but the window 3500f1_SCANBUTTON appears, offering which programs to launch (HP Scan, Readiris, Foxit Editor). When I press HP Scan it starts to scan. I want it to start scanning automatically after pressing the button.

The scan button by itself if not properly configured will only open window with available programs to launch.

You can create shortcuts in HP Scan software that will allow you to select previously set shortcut step so you can easily scan using front panel button.

More detailed explained in the user manual.

No it is not. Whatever I do I can only set up new shortcut but i can not connect it with the front panell button.
