We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Here are the concise troubleshooting steps for your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M26nw:

1. Restart the Printer & Computer

  • Turn off both the printer and computer.
  • Wait 30 seconds, then turn them back on.

2. Check Printer Connections

  • Ensure the USB cable or Wi-Fi connection is stable.
  • If connected via Wi-Fi, ensure the printer is connected to the same network as your computer.

3. Update/Reinstall Printer Driver

  1. Go to HP’s official support page for the M26nw: HP LaserJet Pro MFP M26nw Drivers.
  2. Download and install the latest driver for your operating system (Windows or macOS).
  3. After installation, restart the computer.click here

4. Run HP Print and Scan Doctor

  • Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor from HP’s website.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to diagnose and fix scanning or driver issues. click here

5. Check Windows Fax and Scan Settings

  • Open Windows Fax and Scan or Windows Scan.
  • Make sure the printer is selected as the default scanning device.

6. Reset the Printer

  • Reset the printer’s settings by unplugging it for 30 seconds and then plugging it back in.
  • Reconfigure the network or USB connection if needed.

7. Check Firewall/Antivirus Settings

  • Temporarily disable your firewall/antivirus software and try scanning again to rule out any blocking software.
