My printer is not allowing me to scan. Must have been a recent update and now in my settings it is saying  Scanner Not Appearing.  When I click on that error it is asking about Nopria certified. What is that?

Restart Devices:

  • Restart both your printer and your computer. This simple step can often resolve connectivity issues.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Visit the HP Support Website to download the latest drivers for your HP OfficeJet 4650.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver and check if the scanner appears.

Check Scanner Settings:

  • Access your scanning software or printer software on your computer and ensure that the scanner is correctly set as the default scanning device.

Settings:

  • Go to your printer settings or HP Smart app to see if the scanner is detected there. Make sure any necessary permissions are enabled.
