HP 1536dnf Scanner not working

My printer and scanner was working.  Now it will only print for this computer.  It will not scan.  It will scan and print for other computers. I have uninstalled and installed numerous times to no avail.  I am getting this message: The HP LJ M1530 MFP Series Scan was not found.  I have also decreased the firewall settings. Please help.

Please try this scan solution:

HP Scan Extended

For Windows:   ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"

Check all your settings and expand all tabs and all + signs to see all options that available.  And there are a lot of them.

You did not send anything to download.  The link that you provided checked for an internet connection but that is all. Please advise.  I did get NAPS2 but my scanner is still not functioning.
