We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

The HP 4645 scanner is getting disabled. I even did hard reset using the Manufacturing  mode. Post that, once the device is in original state, will copy for one or two instances. Later when you switch on the printer after one or two instances, the copy function doesn't work. Upon pressing the Copy>> Copy Black or Copy Color, getting a beep and nothing more. 

I have tried via Webcopy, enabling it via the IP address console, but getting the ""The device is busy. Try after sometime". I feel the scanning is deliberately getting disabled, not sure by what. The device is in Network Printer mode and not connected directly to Computer (Windows 10 64 bit) via USB. Any help is appreciated.

I have gone through your post and I understand your concerns

 

I appreciate all your efforts in troubleshooting this issue

 

You could try updating the Firmware and check if that helps. Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168

 

If the issue persists I suggest you contact HP Support for Service Options since Manufacturing Reset didn't help

Hi @KrazyToad, the firmware update is not working, as upon firmware download, it identifies latest firmware installed on the device. Is there a way to force install a firmware, even it means reinstalling the same or old firmware.
