Hi,

Does the HP officejet 4650 have the abiity to duplex scan via ADF?

Meaning that it can scan a double sided page automatically or manual via software?

Hi Paulo,

No, the ADF only allow a single side scanning, only automatic print duplexing capabilities are offered by the printer.

 

You might be offered manual two-sided by the HP Scan Software.

From the Hp Officejet 4650 select Scan a document or photo and select Save as PDF.

Within the right pane ensure the Source is Document Feeder and set 'Page Sides' as 2-Sided (manual).

The application will prompt reloading the other side and will auto rearrange the scanned pages

I'm searching for an All - In-One printer similar to the HP4650 but one that economizes on ink. Many printers use a lot of ink on start up,  printer head cleaning if required, and during the printing execution. Would this model be the best choice?
