Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Scanning via Bluetooth had been working fine until a power outage. Since then I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer, software , done hard resets and even removed battery and cartridges ( trying everything) not to mention endless Scan & print Dr tries. Still no scanning. Printing works fine. Suggestions?

I'd like to help!

 

To assist better-

 

  1. Are you able to make a copy?
  2. Does the scanner light up and does it move?
  3. Is the printer directly connected to the wall outlet?

Meanwhile, try the below suggestions-

 

Reset the product

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

 Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
