I am getting a multicolored straight line on all Copies and Scans. Have looked here on the forum and it recommended to clean the scanning glass. The glass on this printer is a single bed unit unit and it totally clean.
I cannot find anywhere else to clean the scanning head as you cannot seem to get anywhere to access.
Has anyone had this issue on this model.
Apart from the main flatbed screen where else is there to clean any glass.
The printer function works fine and this is a cracking printer which I don't want to bin unless I have to.
The issue occurs on both flatbed scan / copy or Autofeed scan / copy

If you have tried all the steps mentioned in this HP document:- Click here
And if the issue still persists, this could be a hardware issue.
I request you to talk to HP support.
They might have multiple options to help you with this.
- Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
- Select the country.
- Enter the serial of your device.
- Select the country from the drop-down.
- Click on "Show Options".
- Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
