I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 that is new out of the box (actually bought a few months ago, but just set up).  All scans done using the ADF are crooked by about 1/8".  If scanned from the glass the scan is fine, so it's something with the feeder.  What can be done to correct this?

Are you able to share the image of how bad the crookedness is? 

 

If the results are unacceptable, do contact HP for a replacment unit.

Attached is a test scan.  You can see along the edge where it gets a slightly angled gray "shadow" where the paper is crooked.  It's not a lot but enough to make the scan unacceptable for business purposes.ScanTest.jpg

Not really clear from the scan but if the issue is not acceptable, do call HP for a replacmeent.

I have the same issues with the same printer, which is new. My scans and copies are much worse. It only happens with the ADF.
