Hello. I am having tons of trouble with the scan to email feature. I am trying to change some email settings, specifically im trying to put in a default outgoing email address. I believe this is possible to do, if you can access the proper settings.

If you look below at the first picture it is a picture i got from the HP Support website itself. It shows all the options underneath the scan tab, including scan to email setup.

Now in this second picture, is what I have when i load up my ews. Scan to computer-webscan. That is  IT.

Can someone tell me why this is and what is wrong? I have been fighting with this for a long time today and its very frustrating.

HP OJ 8030 doesn't support scan to e-mail.

 

The 1st pic you posted is a from a device that supports scan to email.

I am hooking this up to an newer computer and when it was hooked up to an older computer it DID scan to email. I scanned with it. I saw it scan to email WITH MY OWN EYES. So it HAS worked in the past. So the question is has hp made some update that screwed this feature up or is windows 11 screwing it up? Plus It says by the way in the 8030 user manual that it SUPPORTS scan to email.
