Hi @WBoll

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Here are the steps you can follow to scan multiple pages with your HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 printer:

Load the Pages in the Document Feeder

  • Place the stack of pages you want to scan into the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) on top of the printer.
  • Ensure the pages are aligned properly and the paper guides are snug against the edges to avoid skewing.

Open the HP App on Your Computer

  • On your Windows PC, launch the HP App.
  • Select the printer from the home screen.

Choose the Scan Option

  • Click on Scan.
  • Select Document Feeder as the source instead of the flatbed.
  • Choose the file type you prefer (PDF is recommended for multi-page documents).

Adjust Scan Settings

  • In the scan settings window, confirm that the option for multi-page PDF is selected.
  • Make sure the resolution and color settings are appropriate for your needs.

Start the Scan

  • Click Scan.
  • The printer will automatically feed and scan each page from the ADF.
  • Once scanning is complete, the HP App will combine all pages into a single file.

Save the File

  • After the scan finishes, you’ll be prompted to save the file.
  • Choose the location on your computer and save the multi-page PDF.

If Using Flatbed Scanner

  • If you place pages on the flatbed, you’ll need to scan each page one by one.
  • After scanning the first page, select Add Page in the HP App before scanning the next.
  • Continue until all pages are scanned, then save them as a single file.

By following these steps, you’ll be able to successfully scan multiple pages into one document.
