I set the scanner page size to Legal. however it only scans to letter size and changes back to letter when scan is completed.

Hi,

Within HP Easy Scan, click the top Presets menu and then click on Edit Settings.

 

There change the Paper Source to Feeder, the size to Legal and check for any difference.

Hi,

What application are you trying to scan from? is it HP Smart or HP Easy Scan?

 

Please try the other option and check for any difference, please clarify the exact results:

I tried HP Easy Scan with the same result, however I could not see where you changed the page size to Legal. 

When I use HP Smart and change page size to Legal, it scans but only Letter size. 

Not sure why this happened it used to scan Legal size using HP Smart.

Thank you for the Presets info. When I changed the settings to Legal in HP Easy Scan, I was able to scan the legal size document.
