Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 9020 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

When operating the HP scan app. Set up for feeder with one sheet for copying -  press start

Printer lights up.

Carriage does not move.

Feeder does not move

Then 9020 produces a "copy" of a document last printed months ago. There is no document over the glass.. 

I have no idea where the copy came from. I guess it must be somewhere in the memory of the 9020.

Switched off and unplugged printer - left for three hours.  No joy.

 

Any ideas would be welcome otherwise I will have to use (and have used) a separate PDF item of software.
