Common problems HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to scan
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

HP All-in-One 24-f0047c
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have had no problems in the past using HP Smart from my HP All-in-One 24-f0xx PC and scanning documents from my HP Office Jet Pro 9025 All-in-One printer.

Now, when I click "scan" it says "Couldn't Connect to Scanner"... HP Smart cannot scan from this printer. Either no scanner was detected or HP Smart is not compatible with the scanner in this printer."

I'm certain this is a communication issue of some sort.  My printer is connected by USB, I updated any software on it, selected it as my default (and only printer) and ran trouble shooting programs and all checked out.

I feel like the solution is probably simple but I haven't been able to get it to scan.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi @Savarbock

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help, do not worry!

Perform the following tasks in the order given. Use the printer after each task to see if the issue is resolved.

Restart the computer and printer

Restart the computer and printer to clear any error states.

Press the Power button to turn off the printer.

Close all running programs on your computer, and then restart the computer.

Wait 30 seconds, and then turn the printer back on.

Use HP Print and Scan Doctor (Windows)

Use HP Print and Scan Doctor on your Windows computer to help diagnose and fix printing and scanning issues.

Make sure the paper is loaded in the main tray, and then turn on the printer.

Download HP Print and Scan Doctor, and then follow the prompts to install and open the tool.

On the welcome screen, click Start to select your printer and run the diagnostic.

If your printer is not found, click My product is not listed, and then follow the instructions to troubleshoot the connection.

Click here for the remaining steps and see how it goes.
