Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. I had an old Windows NT and my HP B010 ALL IN ONE could scan well.... now with Wondows10 when I open the APP they say: Sorry this Model Cannot Scan : but it is false : I scanned for many years... could anyone help me ? thanks very much

Try this Solution:

  1. Install HP Scan Extended find here: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/
  2. Download this file: HPScanExt.msi
  3. Close all programs

Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads double-click on the msi.

OPTIONAL:

    Add HP Scan Extended shortcut to Taskbar / Send to Desktop / Pin to Start
    • Open File Explorer > Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\HP Scan Extended\bin
    • Right-Click on "HPScan.exe" > Select Pin to Taskbar / Send to Desktop / Pin to Start
