Product: HP Color LaserJet Enterprise MFP M480f

I am trying to use the Windows Scan app in Windows 11 to use the scanning feature of my network-attached HP Color LaserJet Enterprise MFP M480f.  The printer is installed in Widows 11, and I can print to it without issues, but when I open the Windows Scan app it does not see the scanner as an available scanner.  Is there something I need to enable on the printer, or install/enable in Windows to get Windows to recognize the scanner functionality?
