We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

I can’t imagine the scanning destination (email / usb drive / network) could have anything to do with the lines being produced. My machines are used for short term rentals of a week or two and right now they aren’t being used so I’m not having issues because of this.

We have identified the root cause of this issue. We do have a few other customers that have reported this already. After checking your sample and knowing it is when doing Scan to Email, it is the same issue.

 

The issue is at the firmware level, it’s being worked on already to be fix on the next firmware. However, we are preparing to get an interim firmware ready to help with the open cases on this issue.

I have also heard the fix will be in the next firmware revision.

Well, I did NOT install the firmware update. I went onsite to install and the users threatened bodily harm. Still no lines since changing the SMTP server 48 days ago.

Unless you were given a beta, I do not see FS5.8 listed yet which is the one slated to have the fix.
