Good Morning

We can't get to to Scan to a Network Folder without the Login Screen coming up and we can't scan from any PC to it using HP Smart.

Do you have to use the Login Screen al the time? If so how do you add a User?

Thanks

David

One of two things is likely happening but a better description of when the error comes up would help.

1. You have not saved the credentials for the scan to folder when you configured the location. Thus the printer needs the credentials every time. Use the always use these credentials option when creating the scan location.

2. You have enabled access control on the printer and locked the scan function.

Just depends on where in the process you get asked to login.
