Common problems HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to scan
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.
HP Recommended

Using HP Easy Scan App this MFP scanner is not found.  I've tried using HP utility to find it on my network, and it does not find any device on the IP address that is assigned to this printer. I have confirmed that the IP is correct, because the only way you can print to this printer from a Mac is if you manually add it as an IP printer. I can print to this piece of junk (very expensive piece of junk I might add), however cannot scan. I have to scan to a USB stick at the printer itself, very inconvenient. I am connected to it using a wifi print server (because this piece of junk doesn't have an integrated wifi card!), so unless you are going to hardwire this printer, then know that you need to purchase an outdated piece of equipment to get it to print in a wireless environment.

Is there somebody out there who knows how to get this to work with Mac OS? I have already done all the usual, switch it off and back on, reboot the Mac, uninstall and re-install the drivers completely and start from scratch. None of that makes a difference or works. Unable to find this scanner on the network. Perhaps there is a third party non HP app that works?
