HP DeskJet 2700 Series - Cannot Scan Alignment Page - Manual Alignment?

Hello!

I have been able to print the alignment page on my printer, but it then instructs me to scan the page. Unfortunately, in my last move, my scanner glass shattered and had to be removed so I no longer have a scanner. Is there ANY way to manually re-align my printer?

Unfortunately, the HP DeskJet 2755e and other printers in the DeskJet 2700 series require the alignment page to be scanned on the scanner glass to complete the alignment process. There is no way to complete the alignment manually or bypass the scanning step within the printer’s firmware or software interface.

Workarounds and Alternatives

Skip Alignment (Not Recommended Long-Term):

You can continue printing without completing the alignment, but you may notice issues like blurry text, color misalignment, or streaks. This is a temporary workaround.

Use HP Smart App for Limited Maintenance:

While it won’t bypass the scan requirement, the HP Smart app does offer some print quality tools that might help improve output without full alignment.
