Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

After installing Windows 11 on my computer, I can still print, but am not able to scan. I previously had an icon on my home page for the printer app, but it was erased by the Windows 11 installation. That app controlled scanning. I tried to use my installation disk but nothing happened. Is there another way to reinstall the app or to get the Microsoft operating system to recognized that the printer also scans?
