Hi all.
Was able to scan using the HP Smart app for many weeks. Recently moved to HP Instant Ink and ever since I am now no longer able to scan. The app says the printer is connected and ready. The HP Network configuration page I printed didn't indicate any errors.
When I go to 'scan' it says 'printer is not available'. Doesnt matter how many times I referesh.
Have deleted and reinstalled the app, made no difference.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks so much

@GemmaK, Welcome to HP Support Community!
Most of the iOS scanning issues can be resolved by simply performing a network power reset. Here is how to do it:
1.) Turn off your iOS device, Printer, and Router.
2.) Unplug the power from the back of the router, wait for 10 -15 seconds.
3.) Connect the power cable back to the router, turn on the router first. Wait till the router to initialize.
4.) Turn on Printer and iOS device, try to scan.
Also, let's try updating printer firmware and iOS devices, you may use the links below to updating printer firmware and iOS devices:
Try scanning.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
