Deskjet 4152e

My new Deskjet 4152e is  not faxing docs.  I scanned 3 docs using HP App, then clicked FAX.

Nothing happens!   My printer is connected to internet, but I don't find a way to enter FAX # and send.

Please help...need to Fax today

Thanks!

When I tried the Mobile Fax Tab to send a fax, I received error message that "request did not go through; try again",  even though my 1000Mbs internet is working well..

When I tried again, error message was " HP Cloud service will not load"

Yesterday I received error message that I "can only send Fax from my HP Deskjet 4152e if  have a Land Line!"

But I bought the HP printer because I understood it would send Faxes without Land Line if I have internet access, which I do.

This is all very confusing!

Thanks again.   I discovered problem while experimenting:    Mobile Fax only works with PDF format , not w/ Word or jpg docs!

It would have been a huge time-saver if  App had notified me up front as soon as I tried to send Word doc.  Instead, I had to figure this out in several steps.    First,  App does cannot even find a Word doc (which caused a lot of frustrated searching!!).

After I realized the problem was the App and not my filing system,  I printed doc and scanned, creating a jpg copy (my scanner's default).   When I tried to upload this into App, I received error message SFSWS-FE-400.   AFter finding Table of error messages, I learned about the PDF issue.

Although I appreciate Fax capability (and HP Community help),  I think App could be improved by clearly informing sender of Format issue!

Thanks again for your help!   It's great to get expert help while climbing the "learning curve".   Also a great cure for "operator error"!!
