Hello everyone!
I have an HP Deskjet F2483 printer. And until recently, everything was fine.
but after a long break in work, I decided to plug it in and scan. As a result, more than one application cannot do this. When trying to scan through the HP Solution center. An error occurs: "The scan cannot be performed because another program or computer is using the networked HP imaging device. Try again later." Hide extended error information.
4, [(0.400.80004005), (2.33.80040013), (3.33.0)].
HP doctor print and scan gives a driver error when checking. But he cannot fix it. I also noticed a strange behavior of the printer itself, I cannot turn it off from the button. I pressed briefly and held the button, it doesn't matter.
I have tried reinstalling all software and removing all printer drivers and devices. I even tried it on another computer that I never connected a printer to. The problem remains.
Any ideas on how to get the printer to scan?
Thank you!

@Filipp0vAP, Welcome to HP Support Community!
I recommend you delete the driver and root level and retry, follow the steps below:
1) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2) Select your HP Printer
3) Select Uninstall
4) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
6) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
7) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe”
😎 Click on the “Drivers” tab
9) Look for an HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10) Select Ok
11) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12) Close Devices and Printers.
Use this link to download and install the new driver. Configure the printer and try scanning.
Also, refer to the document HP Printers - How to Scan (Windows) for alternate scanning methods.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

@TEJ1602 I have tried reinstalling all software and uninstalling all printer drivers and devices. Including I did what you suggested. I even tried it on another computer that I never connected a printer to. The problem remains. Thanks for your answer, but unfortunately. won't help me.
Probably the problem is in the printer itself, maybe there is a way to reset its internal settings or something like that?

I would suggest you try the Windows built-in drivers. Follow the steps below:
• Go to Control Panel - Devices and printers - Click on "Add printer" and follow the on-screen instructions.
• When the page prompts for the drivers, select "Windows update". The driver list will be updated.
• Click HP, Hewlett Packard, or Hewlett-Packard in the Manufacturer pane, and then click the name of your printer in the Printers pane.
Refer to this document HP Printers - Installing and Using the Windows Built-in Print Driver for help.
Note: If the printer is not found in the list, try Deskjet 990c or Deskjet 6980 to install the printer as these are the generic printer drivers.
Refer to the document HP Printers - How to Scan (Windows) for alternate scanning methods.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
