HP ENVY 5660
Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion

Hi-  How do I scan multiple pages using the HP ENVY 5660 with Mac OSX 10.8? I have updated the software for the scanner, clicked on "open scanner" in the printer, but see no way of scanning multiple pages. There is also no way to add multiple pages on the touchscreen of the printer.

Really need to send something to a potential employer ASAP so would greatly appreciate any advice.

Thanks.

Sam

Hi,

Be sure to select PDF as the file source.

Click Scan to scan the first page, once done click the same button to add another page and keep using the Scan button till you are done.

The final PDF should include any page scanned within the same session.

Thanks, Schomi!  That did it.

For anyone else with the same problem, here are step-by-step that worked for me: Go to System Preferences -> Select "Print and Scan" ->Select the "HP ENVY 5660" printer ->in the upper part of the main box you will see "Print/Scan", select "Scan" -> Select "open scanner" ->Select "show details" -> KEY STEP: make sure "format" is set to "PDF" then you will have the option of checking a box to "Comblne into single document"->check that box! -> scan your pages sequencially then go to your documents to name the file whatever you want.

Thanks for including the "Key step" - saved some time for me!
