Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

While it would be best to be able to scan using hp Easy Scan and save to a file I did find that since my hp printer has a USB port I can scan to the USB drive and then insert the USB drive into my computer and access the saved document.  We still need hp to update Easy Scan.

I had same problem after the Feb 2024 HP update to 2.0.  My workaround for it is: After scanning all pages, press DONE. Go to FILE, Save, and choose to save as jpg onto desktop. It will create a jpg of each page. I then open a new doc, place the JPGs in the doc, and then export the doc to a pdf. Yes, it involves a few more steps, but it only takes about two minutes to get a few pages into pdf format using this workaround. (Unless, of course, you had scanned 100 pages!). Hope this helps.
