HP Easy Start is recommending that I download HP Easy Scan Version 1.10.0.13. On the "Connecting..." screen, I receive an error message stating that it can't be downloaded and advising me to check my network connection. There doesn't appear to be anything wrong with my network.ss_1.png

Thank you for your response. I have been able to download the HP Easy Start app, but, as the screenshot that I attached to my original post shows, I get an error message when I attempt to download HP Easy Scan Version 1.10.0.13 for Mac. I tried downloading HP Easy Scan through HP Easy Admin, which is similar to HP Easy Start, but allows you to save log files. The download still failed, but the log file showed that the reason was that my HP OfficeJet Pro 6968 is not supported by Version 1.10.0.13 of HP Easy Scan. I am able to scan using Apple's Image Capture software on MacOS, but I prefer using HP Easy Scan. Is it possible for you to provide me with a direct ftp link to the last version of HP Easy Scan that works on MacOS X El Capitan (v. 10.11.6)?

Hi, I have the same issue using Mac High Sierra 10.13.6.  The scanner returns an error message  when I try to use it which I assume is the result of a recent software upgrade but  I then can't download  HP Easy Scan Version 1.10.0.13.  Any suggestions?

The quickest workaround is to use Apple's Image Capture software, which can either be accessed as a stand-alone app in the Applications folder or through the Preview app (File > Import from HP [Your Printer's Model Name]).

Sadly, that doesn't work either.   I get "The overview scan failed to complete".  I'm using my Macbook Pro and from that I can still print OK but not scan.  Strangely, it turns out that I can scan using my wife's desktop Mac which has the same iOS 10.13.6

I am having this same issue, my scanner used to work fine and now it doesn't.  I cannot download this program, please send it to me directly so we can fix this printing issue!  Looking for HP Easy Scan Version 1.10.0.13 and it will not work....currently no program is working to scan with my scanner and it is frustrating.  Thank you
