Hi @mvjudy,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP Envy 5660 might be experiencing a scaling issue in the copy settings. You can try the following steps to correct this.

Check the Copy Settings:

  • Go to the printer's control panel.
  • Select Copy and then check if the resize/scale option is set to something larger than 100% (such as 150% or 200%). Set it back to 100% or choose the appropriate paper size for your copy.

Check Paper Size Settings:

  • Ensure that the paper size selected in the printer settings matches the paper you're using. If it's set to a larger size like A4 or Letter but you're using smaller paper (like A5), the copy could scale up incorrectly.
  • Try selecting the correct paper size in the printer's menu or app.

Adjust from HP Smart App (if applicable):

  • If you are using the HP Smart app, open the app on your computer or mobile device.
  • Go to the Copy section and check the settings there for scaling or paper size.

Reset the Printer:

  • If none of the above works, you could try restarting the printer or performing a factory reset to clear any erroneous settings.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
