HP Laser jet MFP M277DW can't copy double sided from feeder

Can someone please help me? Or let me know if anyone else has had this same issue. For two days now, I haven't been able to print double-sided from the feeder tray on my All- in - 0neLaser Jet MFP M277DW. This worked perfectly up until two days ago.  I'm trying to print things off for my college classes to save money on paper and ink, and of course, it doesn't work. I've watched several YouTube videos that say it should be as simple as changing the settings on the touchscreen control pad to 2-1-sided printing and I've done this to no avail.  I've even uninstalled and re-installed as well as re-installed all the new drivers and software for the printer and still the same thing: when I Insert the paper in the top feeder it prints one side only. I'm on a Macbook Pro as well if that helps too running Mac OS Sequoia 15.2. Thanks in advance.

Can you please clarify because you have used copying and printing both and trying to clarify whether you are having a problem using the scanner to make a copy or if you are printing directly from the computer.

Thanks for responding. I have previously used it for printing, scanning, and copying. However, I'm currently trying to copy double-sided from the tray without having to flip it manually or use the scanner glass.

According to the user guide here https://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04474163.pdf

This device only supports duplex copying manually from the glass.

Best option in that case is to scan in once and then print two sided copies.
