Hello All, 

 

We are using HP LaserJet 400 MFP  M425dw in our company. Recently we disabled the SMB v1 in our company because of the security reasons. Soon after disabling it, scan-to-network_folder feature stopped working. 

 

We are on the latest firmware version i.e. 20160224. We have tried multiple things but the feature is not working. So could you guys please help me to troubleshoot this issue. 

 

Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated.

HP Recommended

Not sure for all models.  But with our 477's I updated to latest firmware and glanced over a change that resulted in a fix.

 

I installed the latest firmware and under networking an improved SNMP setting was available.

 

I disabled SNMPv1/v2

 

Enabled SNMPv3

 

Added an appropriate service account.

 

Was able to scan to PCs with SMBv1 disabled.
