Common problems HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to scan
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.
HP Recommended

I have an issue with HP LaserJet Pro M1212nf Multifunction Printer.

First, it's connected in company network.

The issues are:
-I can not always open the web interface.
-I can print ONLY ONCE after a network cable replug.

-I can't scan, the error is on the picture attached.

In addition when I can't access the web interface I cannot print, and we installed the printer on fileserver and it works as a fileserver print share (the network PCs connect on the fileserver printer driver). But the printing problem with driver installed on a network PC via TCPIP remains.

Thank you in advance.

Hi @DrugStari,

Thank you for joining HP Forums.

I understand that the computer is not recognizing the scanner.

No worries, I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:

Are you facing this issue after the network issue?

Have tried any troubleshooting steps in the printer?

Can you please help me with the computer OS.

Restarting the computer and printer can restore the lost scan connection.

  1. Turn off the printer.

  2. Make sure the printer power cord connects directly to an electrical outlet and not through a surge protector or power strip.

  3. Close all running programs on your computer, and then shut down the computer.

  4. Turn on the printer.

  5. Turn on the computer.

  6. Search Windows for your printer model name, and then click the printer name in the list of results.

    • If HP Printer Assistant opens, click Scan a Document or Photo or Manage Scan to Computer, and then make sure the checkbox is selected next to Automatically start Scan to Computer when I log onto Windows.

    • If HP Solution Center opens, click Scan Settings to view scan connection status, settings, and preferences.

    • If your printer name is not in the results, skip to the step to install the HP software for your printer.

  7. Try to scan.

If the error persists, click here for further assistance.

Do get back to me as I have a few more tricks up my sleeve. Said that, if I have helped you resolve the issue.

The print issue is fixed with our solution, it was network issue. We can print on the Laserjet M1212nf  without any problems.

The scan problem remains: Cannot comunicate with the scanner!  I must repeat that every scanner in the company works exept the 1212.

Reset to default fixed the issue!

After, we set the network settings and it worked.

Thanks for the help.
