copying cuts all settings on a4. scanning is normal

Welcome to HP forums, I see that you are getting issues while doing copy on the printer.

  • What is happening while doing a copy?
  • Did you check if that prints fine from the computer?

Meanwhile:

Print a cleaning page 

  1. Search Windows for HP, and then click your printer name from the list of results.

    HP Printer Assistant opens.

  2. Click Print, and then click HP Device Toolbox.

  3. Click the System tab, and then click Service.

  4. In the Cleaning Mode section, click Start.

when copying, the scanner lamp stops at 11 (letter) when scanning the scanner lamp reaches a4

Update the printer firmware

This seems to be a hardware issue.

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Click on "Continue as guest".

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Click on "Show Options".

 

Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

Following the workflow below has resolved the issue:
HP Device Toolbox>Copying tab>Letter replace to A4>Save changes
