HP LaserJet Pro MFP M428fdw forward fax to email or folder

Dear community,

I intend to buy the following printer:  HP LaserJet Pro MFP M428fdw.

Unfortunately I cannot find in the users manual the info, if it is possible to forward the incoming faxes to an email address or to save them as PDF to a given folder. 

I know that this is an existent function for some printers but not sure if the specified printer offers it.

Feature is called digital fax and yes you can save faxes, requires you to install the digital fax application  on a computer. If you do a lot of faxing, the m528 is a better choice and can email or save fax to folder with no computer required.

What I basically need is a 4 in one printer (print/copy/scan/fax), having the following abilities:

- work as a network printer

- print black/white only (don‘t need color printing and want to avoid getting all the time warnings saying that the color toners must be replaced)

- send outgoing faxes on the regular way (by putting a piece of paper into the device)

- receive incoming faxes directly on a folder or on an email

- scan to email or folder

There aren’t that much incoming faxes a day, maybe about 20, so I hope that M428fdw would be a good choice?

There’s one point where I’m not sure if I got you right: do I need to always use the digital fax application in order to save an incoming fax to a specific folder or can I set up the device via digital fax application only once, so that all incoming faxes will be automatically saved into the pre-set folder?
