HP Laserjet Pro MFP 4101fdw - Digital Fax to Email. Fax Log shows Job Status as, "Not Saved"

Digital Fax to email had been working for over a year.  Now the incoming faxes are recevied by the fax, however they are not forwarded to email.  The Fax Log shows the status of these jobs as "Not Saved".  Previously, all other successfull jobs show a status as, "Saved".  See image below.  We are able to use the console and print the faxes that were not emailed.

Troubleshooting Steps:

1. Restarted printer

2. Reconfigured the Digital Fax to email.  The test email during the setup sent successfully. 

3. Updated to latest firmware.

Any help would be appreciated.

Update.  

Cleariing the Fax Logs allowed Faxes to be delivered to email.

Is this by design?  This seems a bit of a bother to have to clear logs to allow Fax to email to function.
