Does anyone know if there is any HP Software to allow for Double Sided Scanning AND auto sorting of the scanned pages? My current software that came with the HP printer, HP Smart FE7B0584-3 app only allows for manual sorting of pages once scanned. I have 42 pages (double sided) which I would like to have automatically sorted rather than having to manually move 21 pages around. I have not found any settings to allow for auto sorting.
For reference, my last HP All In One printer came with software that would automatically sort all pages in the correct order. I miss that feature.
Thanks.

I think we are getting closer...
Thank Goodness for Edge.
-- Side Bar -- HP App and HP Smart --
- HP App is actually the "new, better, fancier" and more dazzling replacement for HP Smart.
- People might be afraid of the HP App -- some parts of it are very similar to HP Smart -- but other parts, including the top level menu and the visual format are very different from HP Smart. The whole thing might be confusing at first.
- HP App / HP Smart are both useful, brilliant in their own ways, and completely useless for what you need right now. Neither app can collate or sort the way you want.
----------------
-- Full Driver --
You need the full driver installed.
Included with the full driver will be a program called HP Scan.
If the full driver printer software is installed, the software will show up in the list of installed software in Programs and Features.
You can check for it -- the software name will be easy to understand or something useless like "Basic Software" OR possibly a combination of the printer model name and "Basic" something.
OR
Just try (re)installing...
Open your Downloads folder and just try installing that Full Webpack.
If the software is already installed, the installation will complain, continue and reinstall (harmless), or let you know what it thinks is happening.
After the software is installed,
Restart the computer and sign in.
Next,
If the software is installed and shows up in Programs and Features,
Look for a pair of Shortcuts icon on your Desktop --
The little HP Scan shortcut might be named for the printer model, ie., "HP OfficeJet 8010.."
Example -- "Original Format" shortcuts for this type of software
Printer_Assistant_Scan_Assistant_Shortcut_Icons_on_Desktop_12
Open the HP Scan software.
That's it.
① Open HP Scan
② Select the Shortcut on the left side (for example, Save as PDF)
③ Page Sides = "2 sided - (Manual)"
Adjust the rest of the settings and scan.

The following is relevant to recent supported versions of Windows.
The software you seek is the full driver printer software.
Packaged with the full driver software are the tools for accessing the full range of Printing Preferences, including duplex printing on supported paper sizes and types.
The software also includes HP Scan where you will find the auto-sort.
The full driver software must be installed while your computer is connected to the Internet and your printer is connected to your local network so the wrapper can find and download the actual driver during the installation process. I'm real sorry about that -- there does not seem to be a traditional "download, save, and install" Offline package for this printer series.

@Dragon-Fur
Thank you for the thorough reply, I appreciate it.
I removed my printer (didn't see a Help option to remove) and restarted, however when I follow the link you provided, it appears to be an old non-formatted webpage https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/swdetails/hp-officejet-8010e-all-in-one-printer-series/model/21...
When I select printers it takes me to HP's sales page. After poking around I found a link for HP Easy Start to go to 123.hp.com. This seems to be the only thing available or at least all I could find.
When clicking the link 123.hp.com I was redirected to another page when I entered my printer model.
When selecting the Start Setup button I was prompted to install the HP app.
Once this app installed, it found my printer but I don't see any options to auto-sort the pages.
This is what i see in the HP App.
Any thoughts on what is not allowing me to download the Full Driver Printer Software? Perhaps there is a newer link?
Thanks for your help.

You are welcome.
Well, rats.
Not sure --
The Easy Start Web page opens for me as it should, fully formatted and clear.
Maybe try a different browser -- I tried the link on both Firefox and Edge -- "all good".
I don't use Chrome and cannot comment in its habits.
Just in case ---
Here is the direct download for the wrapper that is included on that page:

Hello again and thank you for the added comments.
I was able to access the download page with MS Edge but not Firefox and I've downloaded the file.
I uninstalled the Printer, Rebooted and ran the set up file HPEasyStart_17_4_18.exe as an Administrator. I chose to install the full suite rather than what was recommended on the screen (said it was already installed!). It appears that the Full_Webpack file downloaded but I did not run that. Not sure if I now need to or the installer picked that up when I chose to install the full suite?
I have 2 HP apps to print from now. HP and HP Smart. Neither app when opened shows an area where I can auto sort.
Is there somewhere else I need to make selections? I could not see anything in my Printer Settings to allow for this. Am I missing something or is my printer model not able to so auto sort when scanning double sided documents?
